24 Students from our Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter delivered a strong performance at the FBLA District Leadership Competition last week, earning 37 medals across multiple events.
Students who placed in the top two in performance events or top five in testing events qualified to advance to the State Leadership Conference, which will take place April 12–14 in Springfield, Missouri. Students competed in a wide range of categories. Final results are in the comments 👏 ❤️🏴☠️

This week we have many options of shirts, hoodies and crewnecks, along with the new Pirate popsockets and pin back buttons . We will be selling our “Bags for Bucks” trash bag rolls with different gallon sizes available as well. All proceeds will go directly to FBLA to help pay for expenses with competitions and conferences, traveling, and service activities.

Yesterday, our EMT students had an incredible opportunity to learn firsthand what it’s like to serve as a flight medic or flight nurse thanks to the amazing crew from Survival Flight! Hannibal Fire Department provided us with a landing zone and stayed to interact and train with our students! 🚁🔥
From exploring the aircraft to hearing real-world experiences and running through skill demonstrations (like loading a patient into the helicopter), our students gained invaluable insight into what it takes to save lives from the skies and on the ground. 💪
